It puts your device into pwned DFU mode to let you restore custom firmware IPSW files without returning any iTunes error such as “iTunes error 1600”.
iREB for Mac comes with one feature only that is restoring custom firmware on supported devices using limera1n exploit. However, Windows variant of the app also comes with Recovery Loop fix and SHSH grabbing function as well, that are yet to be added in the Mac variant.
